H&R Benelux operate a 13,000 m² site in Nuth, Limburg, Netherlands. The extensive production and warehousing facilities are supported by fully equipped and quality certified laboratories. Customer service and accounting services are provided by the company’s UK sister, H&R ChemPharm (UK) Ltd. The company specialises in producing a wide range of homo- and co-polymer APP (atactic polypropylene) blends. These are used in a variety of waterproofing applications, notably in bitumen based roofing felts. Lamwax , a range of APP/ polyethylene wax blends, is increasingly used to coat cardboard boxes containing washing powders or other hygroscopic products and forms a moisture proofing lamination between the cardboard and the printing ink. A modern, automated production plant manufactures wax emulsions.
